Service, location, helpfulness of staff, comfort
Poor recommendation for a place to eat. Place recommended by staff was a diddley eye tourist restaurant. Found a much better place close by
Very nice, close to Westport shopping and restaurants. Room was very cosy and comfortable, eclectic. Good breakfast.
Very welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Very clean, and comfortable room. Outstanding breakfast. Superb location in the centre of Westport. Can't recommend enough. Thanks for a great stay!
Excellent breakfast, fresh orange juice, fruit and a selection of continantal and english breakfast options. Very complete. Lovely spacious room (nr. 7) with jacuzzi bath and seperate powere shower. Good garden, ideal for children. Three minutes walk from the main shopping streets and restaurants. Very welcoming B&B with kettle and free tea and coffee in the room. Good meals in Wyatts hotel,: Three course meal for 60 euro for two persons including wine. Good entertainment in Matt Molloys Bar.
The room (7) is not very dark. A lot of light comes in. Also at night a very bright security light comes on when somebody walks in the yard. Some heavier curtains would solve that. The parking space should be limited to 5 cars. It is nice to have the car parked safely within the grounds, but is very hard to manoeuvre when there are so many cars and one car can block the other to get out, like happened to us.The little step up to the bath area is a bit tricky: one could easily break ones neck.
We thought it was very clean and quiet. The room was very comfortable the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We came back the next night for an other stay . All in all it was very good value for money and our car was safe in the secure court yard .
Very friendly and helpful owners. Accommodation was clean, breakfast very good and location for town centre was perfect.
No real complaints although the second floor is all wood flooring so suspect it could be a bit noisy if busy - don't let this put you off though.
Good breakfast friendly staff central location privateparking
Very pleasant staff. Truly excellent breakfast. Freshly cooked. Home made breads, scones. Handy for centre of town. Very good high speed wifi reception in the lounge.
Minor niggle - I knocked my head on small wall-mounted tv getting out of bed - should have put my wife in that bed (she is shorter). . Suggestion: extend wifi coverage to courtyard rooms - not expensive to accomplish.
Hard to say what I liked best. The room was lovely and had a charming look onto the stream right below the window. Even though we were right in town, it was very quiet, as if you were in the country. The beautiful formal-looking diningroom was a little intimidating, but just because I wasn't expecting it. The owners we very gracious and the food was ample and varied.
My only problem with St. Anthony's is nothing you could fix. We got there in the evening both nights and the courtyard parking was really tight for me. Paul graciously got my midsized rental out for me the day we left. It wouldn't be an issue for anyone from Europe I'm sure.
A former small abbey, Beautiful restored, specially the rooms in the courtyard. It was just perfect. The very nice housekeeper and the superb breakfast. very near the centre of Westport.
We were made to feel at home by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable and the decor was a mix of old world and modern. Fabulous breakfast and location was brilliant. We will definitely return to this B & B.
St Anthony's is a nice, friendly B & B with the personal touch, we were made to feel welcome upon arrival and the staff were great throughout our stay. The B&B is centrally located in the town of Westport but is also in a quiet part of the town, its worth noting that is well connected to all routes in and out of the town. I would recommend staying here, breakfast was great too!
The B & B was very comfortable, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
The rooms were lovely and big. Well decorated and cosy.
Breakfast finished at 9.30 which was too early I thought.
Loved the room we stayed in...by the small river. It was very large and clean with a super comfortable bed!. Paul, the host was very friendly and provided many "places to visit." This b&b also provided secure parking for their quests which I appreciated. We enjoyed our stay at St. Anthony's
